V10 can be used to protect tomato plants against damaging symptoms of virulent strains of Pepino mosaic virus.
Pepino mosaic virus (PepMV EU, PepMV LP, PepMV CH2), also provides moderate protection against PepMV US1.

Following inoculation with V10, asymptomatic PepMV isolates VC1 and VX1 become established throughout the plant. Infection by other PepMV isolates is severely compromised due to its degradation by RNA silencing. In this way the plant is equipped with a high level of protection against subsequent attempted infections by virulent PepMV strains.

Apply V10 to newly planted tomato crops, preferably as soon as possible and before the first flowers start to open at the latest.
